Proposed New Surgery
We are pleased to announce that a new planning application has been submitted to build a new surgery on land at Ben Lynwood Village on Rise road. Details of these can be found on the RBWM website with the planning application number: 17/01188.
The application is somewhat different to that of 3 years ago and we have been working hard to address the objections made in the last application.
Kings Corner Surgery will be working collaboratively with Magnolia House. Both surgeries have agreed that a new building with modern facilities and adequate parking are much needed for both practices. The two practices are expected to share the new building once the development is complete, allowing better access to services for patients.

Your support is needed. Both surgeries want to work closely with the staff, patients and patient participation groups regarding the operation of the new site. The proposed plans are still subject to planning permission approval.
We need letters of support for this application and can be sent directly to: Planning Town Hall, St. Ives Road, Maidenhead, SL6 1RF OR alternatively these can be emailed to:email@example.com. Below we have included some of the ways the new surgery will benefit you, including:
• Population Growth – The current surgery buildings cannot accommodate the projected population growth over the next 15 years, the development has been designed to meet these needs.
• Attracting Staff – In current times attraction and retention of new GP’s has been at a low. It is envisaged that the new development will attract new GPs from outside of the area.
• State of the art facilities
• Multidiscipline faculty – the new premise allows for the inclusion of other complimentary therapies on site and patients can expect to be treated for a variety of conditions on site without having to travel. The new premises includes spaces for; physiotherapy, talking therapies, and minor surgery.
